Woodbury Blue to play Shakopee
Woodbury Blue recieved the 8 seed for the District 3 Tournament. They will play Shakopee in the first round if the District tournament on Wednesday at 4:30 at Tahpah Field in Shakopee, MN.

Woodbury Blue jumped on Mahtomedi early on its way to a 4-1 win on Tuesday at Woodbury High School in seven innings, scoring three runs in the first inning. Ben Rexroth racked up two RBIs on two hits for Woodbury Blue. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning. Steven Fingleton's six strikeouts were enough to push Woodbury Blue past Mahtomedi. Fingleton allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks over six innings.
Woodbury's record is now 7-3 in League F play.

Woodbury Blue Beats Stillwater
Woodbury Blue beat Stillwater 6-2 to improve their league record to 6-1. The Royals got a strong pitching performance from Ryan Fritze going all 7 innings and striking out 8 Ponies. Ryan Winter had a big hit in the bottom of the 6th inning to bust open a 2-2 tie. The Royals will face St. Paul Park on Sunday night at 6 pm at Woodbury High School.

Woodbury Blue improves in League Play
After going 1-3 in the Snake Pit Tournament in Burnsville, Woodbury Blue improves their league F record to 5-1 after beating Oakdale 2-0 last night. Nate Wallgren was solid on the mound going all 7 innings, only giving up 2 hits, and striking out 7 batters. Woodbury Blue will take on Stillwater on Thursday at 6 pm at Woodbury High School. Ryan Fritze will be on the mound for the Royals!

Woodbury Blue improves to 4-1
A six-run explosion in the second inning carried Woodbury Blue to a 9-3 win in seven innings over Inver Grove Heights at Woodbury High School on Thursday.
Mike Policano racked up two RBIs on two hits for Woodbury Blue. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.
Jacob Roerick got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over six innings. Roerick struck out five, walked four and gave up four hits.
Woodbury Blue will head into the Burnsville Snake Pit Tournament this weekend against Andover, Burnsville, and Altoona, WI.

Woodbury Blue downs East Ridge
Woodbury Blue beat East Ridge 4-1 at Woodbury High School.
Noah Danner kept contact to a minimum, striking out eight East Ridge batters. Danner allowed one earned run, seven hits and four walks over six innings.
Woodbury Blue jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first.Woodbury Blue's offense woke up as Joe Wood doubled before Fritze doubled, Scoring Wood.

Woodbury Blue got one-run rallies in the fourth inning and the fifth. In the fourth, Woodbury Blue scored on a fielder's choice, scoring Jacob Roerick.
Brandon Mazur came on in the 7th to record his first save of the year. The win brings Woodbury Blue's record to 3-1.

Woodbury Blue Falls to 2-1
Woodbury Blue lost a heart-breaker to Mahtomedi last night. Up 6-4 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th inning, Mahtomedi hit a 2 run home run to tie the game at 6-6. Mahtomedi eventually scored a run in the bottom of the 8th inning to win the game 7-6.
Woodbury Blue will face crosstown rival East Ridge on June 18th at 6 pm at Woodbury High School.
